Job Description

We are now looking for a Planning Engineer for Short-Term Planning within the Mining Technology Section. As a planning engineer, you will contribute to safe and efficient extraction of Boliden Zinkgruvan's resources by working on the establishment of Production Budgets, Forecasts, and Monthly Plans according to applicable deadlines.

Your main tasks will involve collaborating with other functions within the mine to gather input for planning and to communicate plans. Assisting executors (production, area & contractors), and production planners in prioritizing activities and resources as needed. Monitoring and evaluating plans and production data. Monthly reporting, as well as participating in the improvement work of the planning process.

Requirements for the position

· Bachelor of Science in Engineering equivalent to 80 credits in Mining and Civil Engineering

· B driver's license

Preferred qualifications

· Knowledge of Deswik Scheduler is preferred
